lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report, which outlines the substantive requirements relating to emission limits and EU type-approval procedures for engines to be installed in non-road mobile machinery (NRMM). NRMM covers a large variety of machines ranging from small handheld equipment, construction machinery and generating sets to railcars, locomotives and inland waterway vessels. NRMM combustion engines contribute to air pollution and currently account for roughly 15% of the nitrogen oxide (NOx) and 5% of the particulate matter emissions in the EU. The emissions limits set out in Directive 97/68/EC no longer reflect the current state of technology and do not comprehensively cover all engine categories. This regulation will repeal and replace the current directive, protect human health and the environment, and ensure the proper functioning of the internal market for engines in NRMM."@en1
