"Ms Harms, you seemed to be a bit contradictory in your exposition, because you seemed to be saying that the EU is a construction in favour of rich people – which I would agree with, but they are very rich people at the top. Do you understand that the people in the UK who voted to leave were in fact predominantly – not all, but predominantly – those people who have been hit hardest by the European Union, who have had to bear the economic burden: the people who do not have jobs, who do not have prospects, who are seeing their living standards being driven down?
Do you understand that it was those people who voted to leave, and that, in fact, the EU is a construction for very rich people at the top: the big banks and the Goldman Sachs of this world?"@en1
