In a time of high youth unemployment, affecting even graduates, it is of foremost importance to evaluate the European ET2020 framework with a view to increasing its added value and optimising its effectiveness. The stocktaking exercise conducted by the Commission in 2014 concluded with a number of recommendations from the Commission and Council for addressing the problem of the complex landscape of ET2020 and its governance: definition of mandates for the new generation Working Group, involvement of independent experts, closer dialogue, and more regular consultation and coordination between the Commission, Member States and educational stakeholders."@en1
