"I supported this framework agreement between the EU and the Republic of Lebanon. This will now allow the Republic of Lebanon to participate in certain European Union programmes after the Commission determines the specific terms and conditions. Such actions are vital for economic, financial and technical cooperation, while it allows the Republic of Lebanon to receive assistance, in particular financial assistance, from the European Union pursuant to those programmes."@en1
