"In the interest of transparency and democracy I would like to confirm I voted against this resolution. This resolution asks the Commission to re-evaluate the market definitions and the current set of EU competition rules to take into account the evolution of the global rail supply chain. In my constituency of the North-East the steel sector is in crisis as a result of European Union rules curtailing its ability to compete with China dumping steel on the market."@en1
