"I voted in favour of this report on short stay visa waivers with Tonga, although it will not apply to Ireland since Ireland does not participate in the Schengen acquis. For other EU countries, this vote means that citizens from Tonga and the EU will have a maximum period of 90 days for visa-free travel when visiting the territory of the other party."@en1
