Behind the smokescreen of high-tech solutions and ‘precision agriculture’, Conservative MEPs are trying to push forward even more environmental and climate damage. It is unacceptable for Parliament to endorse further increases of food production in the EU at a time of massive food wastage and immense climate impacts of unsustainable meat and dairy consumption. EU agriculture policy needs more balance between food production, environment and climate and cannot keep serving exclusively the interest of big agri-industries."@en1
