lpv:spoken text	"I have always considered, along with my Socialist colleagues in the Socialist and Democrats Group, that Africa is a priority, including as well the aspects related to security. This report tackles the issue of the European cooperation in the framework of the UN initiatives for Peace Support Operations in Africa, including as well the EU CSDP missions and operations in the region. This initiative report comes with recommendations for the EU to improve its engagement in Africa in the field of peace support operations, which I cannot oppose. I believe that cooperation between the African Union, the European Union and the United Nations is absolutely key to regional stability, and we have longstanding partnerships with both of these organisations. I would like to see this cooperation work better and I believe this report goes some way in making that happen."@en1
