Following the signing of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) last year, the need for development principles to run through all EU policy is greater than ever. The principle of Policy Coherence for Development (PCD) represents the EU’s commitment to take account of the impact of its policies on international development. Despite the difficulties to implement PCD, the EU should make an effort to ensure more synergies among EU policies, and this report represents the commitment to uphold and enhance the principle of PCD in light of the SDGs."@en1
