While it raised some positive provisions in relation to human rights, the environment, refugees and tax avoidance, it contained some very regressive provisions regarding the EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP). Sinn Féin is committed to Irish neutrality, and ensuring that any decisions taken with regard to security and defence are taken at a national level. As this report is aimed at exporting these decisions to intergovernmental meetings held behind closed doors, I voted against."@en1
