"Enhanced co-operation" is nothing more than a means by which sovereign member States are pressured into falling into line when they are able to exercise an effective veto on such legislation applying to them. The matter also presages the development of pan-EU law of family property and law of succession in relations thereto which will supersede national law. I remain committed to opposing in principle all legislative acts by the EU."@en1
