"Madam President, I have a message for my London constituents: Do not believe the opinion polls in the EU referendum campaign. I am getting quite a different picture when I am out campaigning. The overwhelming majority of people I speak to tell me they are voting to leave. They represent all sections of society and ethnic groups, but they are generally working people who have simply had enough of the European Union. Last week, I spoke to a young Romanian woman whose been in Britain for just one year. She said she wished she could vote to leave. Her reason was because she could not get a school place for her young child. What does it mean when recent a EU migrant voices the same complaints as British citizens? Don’t listen to David Cameron’s increasingly ludicrous and scare tactics. I exhort my constituents to vote to set themselves free from the European Union on 23 June."@en1
