lpv:spoken text	"I voted for this motion which wants to improve the traceability of products derived from fisheries and aquaculture in restaurants and retail. All too often we see fraudulent mislabelling; this constitutes a clear breach of CFP rules. It misleads consumers, represents a threat to marine resources as well as consumer health, disadvantages honest producers and distorts competition. I’m joining the voices from this place to call on the European Commission and the Member States to act decisively and improve controls, traceability and distribution of information on these products – not least in the interest of consumer protection, but it also goes some way to protect the credibility of the fisheries industry as well as the catering industries which buy such products."@en1
