lpv:spoken text	"I voted to support this proposal as it will provide the legal certainty for Europol’s activities so that it can contribute to further EU-level cooperation of law-enforcement authorities. The regulation provides extensive rules and provisions for the processing of information by Europol and has been aligned with the recently—adopted Data Protection Directive. It will also establish a specialised Joint-Parliamentary Scrutiny Group to monitor Europol’s activities, including any potential impact on fundamental rights and freedoms."@en1
