lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this agreement, which is the first Sustainable Fisheries agreement between the EU and Liberia. It will reinforce cooperation, in particular in the fight against IUU fishing, and help the country to improve its fisheries monitoring, control and surveillance capacity, as well as enhance scientific cooperation and promote the development of its fishing sector. It is expected to contribute to Liberia's recovery after extremely difficult years of conflict and civil war, political and economic instability, and the recent Ebola crisis. The Agreement and Protocol are in line with the reformed CFP and ensure that the fishing activities of EU vessels in Liberian waters are carried out in respect of the principles of sustainability, good governance, transparency, non-discrimination and respect of human rights. This SFPA further expands the EU's network of tuna fisheries agreements in West Africa."@en1
