lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report for a number of reasons. The rapporteur notes that the Committee of the Regions’ financial affairs have become more sustainable and it has been able to reduce its annual expenditure from 2014 compared to 2013. Likewise, the institution’s appropriation of designated funds is spent according to its purpose at a utilisation rate of 98.5% . Unfortunately the institution’s expenses are too high in areas of travel, salaries and missions. The external and internal audit also highlights areas of financial management which could be strengthened such as procurement of services. I was also happy that the rapporteur acknowledges that the Committee of the Regions needs to achieve greater gender balance, especially in management positions where fewer than 35% of managers are women."@en1
