"I have supported the report on discharge in respect of the implementation of the general budget of the EU for the financial year 2014 in relation to the allocation to the European Ombudsman. The work of the European Ombudsman is incredibly vital for protecting citizens’ rights and places much-needed checks on the institutions of the EU. Furthermore, this vote is a necessary and important procedure and I am happy to be facilitating its passage."@en1
