It is scaremongering to claim that glyphosate-based products are not thoroughly checked before they can be sold to the public and that they do not undergo stringent scientific assessment. British farmers would experience a significant loss in their arable and horticultural yields were such products to be pulled from the market, and face a significant increase in costs in controlling weed growth."@en1
