lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this PECH report by rapporteur Ruža Tomašić because it looks at how innovation and diversification can help coastal regions dependent on fishing to survive. Although not something that especially affects my region, the West Midlands, I can sympathise with the people who live in these areas and whose lives depend on fishing. Furthermore, it is an objective of my group to protect and create jobs in these small-scale and artisanal fisheries, and as coastal fishing guarantees a high level of employment in coastal areas, we can make it into a socially and environmentally sustainable industry."@en1
