lpv:spoken text	"Coastal fishing is an important industry in the UK and especially in the South-West with many individual fishermen and coastal communities relying on these operations for their livelihoods. With such small-scale and often traditional operations, a one-size-fits-all approach is not appropriate and flexibility is required within legislation to accommodate these practices and other local conditions. I am pleased that this legislation is focusing on supporting and developing this sector in a way that is sensitive to this, whilst using the powerful tools we have available in the form of European-level funding from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) to promote diversification and growth. This represents a step towards environmental and economic sustainability for coastal communities."@en1
