"The REFIT Programme is central to the Commission's new strategy for enhanced law-making. This strategy sets out better law-making procedures with an aim to simplifying EU law whilst reducing the regulatory burden. Clarity and transparency is however absent from the many different names used by the Commission for various programs, making it confusing for citizens. The Commission confirms that the REFIT Programme does not put any existing policy objectives in danger. It will not have a negative impact on the safety or health of citizens on the Union, nor workers, or the environment."@en1
