"I voted in favour of this report as I believe that a strong Banking Union is crucial for jobs and growth in the eurozone. It is right that we have a review of the Banking Union measures already put in place and make changes if necessary. Ultimately, this is all about the lending environment. Too many banks are still not in a position to lend properly to businesses and SMEs. Any further development of our Banking Union needs to put this at the forefront of the agenda."@en1
