"European labour market policies have a great economic potential and can also break down barriers between citizens, fostering meaningful exchange and understanding.
Such labour market policies must take into account the obstacles encountered by those facing multiple discrimination, such as women in sectors where they are underrepresented, ethnic minorities, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, LGBTI persons, or persons with disabilities. There must be a particular effort to promote the representation of women in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths).
European policy on employment services must be compatible with equivalent policies in education, vocational training, and life-long learning."@en1
