"Madam President, I am sure I am not alone in being worried about the position that the Democratic Unionist Party have taken in Northern Ireland. They are apparently opposed to the United Kingdom staying in the European Union, but – as their name suggests – they are a Unionist party. However, if the United Kingdom leaves, this will trigger a further referendum in Scotland and, if Scotland leaves the United Kingdom, there will be no Union. There will be no Union Jack. There can be no Union Jack without the flag of St Andrew. So I would ask the Democratic Unionist Party to reconsider their position. How can they be a Unionist party and be working to destroy the Union? Please change your position."@en1
