"Labour MEPs supported this report. The trade in services is a significant and growing part of the EU economy. We need to create a level playing field for this and opening global markets to European service providers is crucial for the protection and promotion of jobs in the European Union. The Trade in Services Agreement is an opportunity not only to boost our economy but to update trade rules for the benefit of all and to close loopholes which allow workers to be exploited. Preventing social dumping and ensuring strict data protection is vital as e-commerce grows. Labour MEPs are also very clear about the need for transparency in all trade agreements."@en1
