I do not feel that the report went far enough in some areas to protect public services and consumers, but I do support the overall tone of the report which highlights concerns that need to be addressed. I felt that to vote in favour might signify acceptance that certain amendments had not passed, and might be perceived as supporting a common position. I therefore abstained on the final vote."@en1
