Whilst I share some of the concerns it expresses, particularly the flexibility provided by a 2.1 conformity factor, I believe that these concerns must be dealt with in parallel to the approval of the RDE testing regime. I believe that the introduction of RDE tests for new cars as proposed here will bring clear reductions in NOx emissions and improve air quality; therefore it would not be the right response to delay the introduction of RDE testing by months or possibly even years."@en1
