"I voted in favour of the GUE/NGL resolution and against the Joint Motion for Resolution on this file. My reasons for voting for the GUE/NGL Resolution were because of its strong opposition to the creation of an EU military alliance and its absolute rejection of the activation of Article 42(7) TEU on the Mutual Defence Clause. Rejecting both of these aspects is crucial to safeguarding Irish neutrality."@en1
