"The proposal for the Regulation on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) aims at updating the current Council Directive 89/686/EEC and aligning it with the New Legislative Framework (NLF) on the marketing of products. It is important that guidelines for using Personal Protective Equipment are transparent to avoid misuse, ensuring protection of EU citizens. I support the proposed amendments for technical and linguistic clarifications and the use of the official language of the importer country to be clearly marked on all PPE."@en1
