"Labour MEPs supported this report as it is critical that young people have access to the required skills in today’s labour market. The report includes proposals to strengthen co-ordination between education institutions and local employers, improve the quality of career guidance at schools and calling for protection for trainees and apprentices. However, the UK Government needs to boost growth and investment to ensure that there are quality jobs for young people."@en1
