"The economic crisis of recent years has had a particularly detrimental effect on youth employment in many areas of the EU. This is a welcome report and it is essential that efforts are made to address unemployment amongst young people. In my own country the Scottish government has invested in an ambitious Youth Employment Strategy and this has contributed to the highest levels of youth employment in a decade."@en1
