lpv:spoken text	"I, along with my fellow Labour MEPs, condemn the ongoing killings and human rights violations and deplore the worsening humanitarian situation in Burundi. We are calling for an end to the violence and human rights abuses. We must work to ensure that there is no further deterioration of the situation through political dialogue between the government and the opposition, working with civil society and ensuring accountability for the violations committed. We urge the Security Council to follow its resolution with specific measures to stop rights abuses. We must work to prevent further escalation of the conflict and further loss of life."@en1
