lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report as it deals with several concerning issues that need to be highlighted in the basic material industry in Europe such as climate change, border adjustment measures, emissions policy, energy policy, transparency and merger acquisitions. The overall aim of this own initiative report is to identify new conditions under which base metals industries, such as steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals can prosper in the EU. I believe that a level playing field has to be ensured for the European base metal industry, however; initially it is best to focus on the upcoming ETS reform in order to come up with a well-balanced and thought through reform that benefits all."@en1
