lpv:spoken text	"The European Union is rather tying itself in knots with this report. On the one hand, it bemoans the high price of energy and its impact upon base metals in the European Union. That is perfectly reasonable as a position to hold. On the other hand, the same report suggests a position on climate change which would lead to higher energy costs. That, too, is a perfectly reasonable position to hold. But it is not, in my view, possible to have your cake and eat it. The two positions are logically inconsistent with each other. I therefore voted against this report."@en1
