lpv:spoken text	"While the issues of tax fraud and tax avoidance by companies are extremely important, I do not believe that the correct level to deal with them is within the EU. This report calls for common taxation at an EU level, a proposal that I fundamentally disagree with. Taxation is a sovereign issue that should be up to national governments to decide what suits their citizens and their economies best. The UK Government has been at the lead of OECD negotiations on a global agreement around taxation and new BEPS proposals. Each Member State of the EU should be working at a global level to ensure a consistent approach to taxation which will limit the opportunity for avoidance."@en1
