lpv:spoken text	"I objected to the draft Commission implementing regulation adopting a list of 36 invasive alien species of Union concern. The initial list ignores species that are amongst the most detrimental IAS in Europe. Some terrestrial plant and mammal species comply with the criteria and a robust risk assessment is available, yet they are not included on the list. Mammal species that are among the most rapidly expanding alien species in Europe in recent years are not listed. The widely spread and rapidly expanding plant species, with considerable and well documented adverse effects on human health, are not listed either. The 2020 biodiversity strategy will fail if we won’t fight the real challenges we are currently facing. The IAS Regulation can deliver real results, but only if rightly implemented and supported by the local authorities."@en1
