In this context, EUR 205 million has been made available to boost small businesses. The facility does not directly finance micro-enterprises, but rather enables participating microcredit providers, so-called intermediaries, to increase their lending, thanks to improved guarantees based on refinancing under Progress Microfinance. The facility helps people to realise their potential as entrepreneurs, develop new skills through training and monitoring, and find jobs."@en1
