"I voted in favour of the report. Labour MEPs have always voted in favour of EGF applications and these applications are no different. It is also worth noting that opportunities for the UK to claim from this fund may arise in the near future and the EGF could help those made redundant and wider communities affected by large shocks to the local economy. In addition, the EGF can do this whilst minimising the cost to the UK Government."@en1
