lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report which was concerned with an application to the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund. The European Globalisation Fund (EGF) is a Commission programme that provides training and employment supports to redundant workers. However, I wish to note with concern that millions of euros earmarked for redundant workers from the EGF is set to be returned unspent to the Commission. Up to EUR 3 million could be left unspent with 60% of that being returned to Brussels. This is absolutely unacceptable and highlights the Irish Government’s lack of action or care on such vital funding issues. This apathetic and incompetent attitude is unacceptable."@en1
