"Just as the report was adopted by a huge majority in the committee, it was great to see it being adopted with as much enthusiasm in the plenary today. I am happy to say that I voted in favour of this agreement which the Commission has negotiated on behalf of the EU. This agreement will allow visa-free travel for the citizens of the European Union to travel to Grenada for a maximum of 90 days (in any 180-day period). This will come as good news to those families in my constituency who have family and friends in Grenada, as well as those who might want to go on holiday to this island. There will be less hassle when travelling here and it will bring a welcome boost in tourism for this country. Furthermore it will allow us to increase the political dialogue with Grenada and promote our aims and goals in terms of human rights, climate change and whole range of other things."@en1
