lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the appointments to the Special Committee on Tax Rulings (TAXE II). While of course the composition of the committee is very important, we should not lose sight of the fact that this committee should not just be another elaborate PR stunt. According to the new mandate TAXE II should either produce a resolution or another report. I have called for a report to be produced as a report is more effective and carries more authority as opposed to a resolution. As it stands, it has been agreed that a report will be issued but only if the TAXE II Committee makes new discoveries. I have a number of reservations as to whether the Committee will discover anything of substance as the lack of political will to date has been very disappointing. However, I will continue to monitor this situation closely."@en¹
