lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I only have one minute tonight in which to speak, so just two quick messages really. The first is about action. We started the year in Riga saying we wanted action, not just warm words. Well we did act, we got agreement in Addis Ababa, and then in Paris, and we hope to get agreement at the COP 21 in Paris next week. We have also agreed a new Agenda Action Plan, but now we have to turn those commitments into real policies on the ground, and that is the second word really – legacy – which both the Commission and the Council spoke about. We have to deliver on the promises. We have spoken, Commissioner Mimica, about renewing the European Consensus on Development and maybe it is time now to bring that idea forward to create a new buy-in, by all the partners, into the next 15 years of development policy. Finally, I would like to thank the Luxembourg Presidency for its commitment, the Latvian Presidency for its commitment, and you, Commissioner Mimica, for yours, as well as my colleagues, who throughout the year have been extremely supportive in getting the message out."@en1
