"Mr President, first of all I would like to pay tribute to the victims and the survivors of the brutal terrorist attack in Paris and their families. Having been through and experienced such terrorism in my own area of Northern Ireland, and having been through a terror lock-down such as is facing the people of Brussels at this present time, this is nothing new. Words alone will not defeat these terrorists. It will take action – and always remember that this is designed to strike fear into the masses. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of violence, whether it is political or religious. There are some, sadly, who try to equivocate and even come close to justifying these cowardly attacks. But I hope I can speak for this entire House when I say that all terrorism is wrong and can never be justified. Earlier, my colleague from Northern Ireland, Ms Dodds, was chastised for what she said about the Sinn Féin Members. I wholly agree with what she said and now, Mr President, you can report me to the Bureau too."@en1
