Those are all positions which many people hold. But to my mind, it is fundamentally and morally wrong to misuse the very serious issue of child poverty as a vehicle to push these left—wing policies. I personally feel that there is far more that we should do, as a nation, within the United Kingdom to tackle child poverty. My problem with this report, however, was that it had so much content on issues that are so different to the issue of child poverty. Therefore I could not support the report as a whole."@en1
