"Do you not agree with me that the European Union is absolutely, flagrantly, useless with money? We have had 20 years of the accounts not being submitted properly or signed off. Surely it is the worst possible agency in the world to distribute funds to Africa or to any of these camps on the Syrian—Turkish border. Would it not be better if the nation states of Europe – for example, Great Britain or France – gave the money directly or set up these camps themselves? What is the point of giving it to the European Union? Let us cut out the middleman; let us give it directly to those camps. Do you agree with me?"@en1
