lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this legislation as it places more focus on EU added value, insofar as it ensures that the work of CEPOL is better managed and organised, covering areas such as cooperation with EU agencies and protection of fundamental rights, particularly in relation to data protection. There should be more adequate funding for CEPOL and it should be given the resources to carry out its tasks in relation to combating cross-border crime. This legislative proposal is promising in that regard."@en1
