"I voted against this resolution. This report suggested that diesel cars have lower carbon dioxide emissions per kilometre than equivalent petrol powered vehicles. I am technology neutral when it comes to emissions reductions and I believe that this sends the wrong signal in light of current uncertainties surrounding vehicle emission tests."@en1
