The purpose of this project is to set up embedded computer systems across different areas of application with the intention to strengthen EU competitiveness and sustainability across Member States. There is a call for the contributions from the Member States to be at least 1.8 times the contributions that the Union makes. The Union contribution for 2013 equates to EUR 181 454 844 and the Member States’ contribution amounts to EUR 341 842 261. We cannot support this given that there is pressure on the Member States to support this programme, and that competitiveness should be left to the markets."@en¹
