lpv:spoken text	"I strongly supported this report due to the importance of its subject matter: preventing the supply and trade of instruments of torture and cruel punishment in the EU. We are committed to standing against acts of torture, and thus will do all that is necessary to prevent such cruel and inhumane acts from taking place. An urgency procedure to allow immediate bans of such products has been introduced, as well as a ‘catch-all procedure’ so as to stop any export where there is reasonable concern that the goods in question would be used for torture."@en1
