This report, ‘Package travel and assisted travel arrangements’, will guarantee more effective rules on insolvency protection for travellers in case of the trader’s insolvency; stricter liability of traders in case of underperformance of the package; improved pre-contractual information requirements and termination rights; and better protection in cases where the traveller’s return is impossible because of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. This represents a positive solution for consumers and businesses, ensuring better protection for both."@en1
